WHAT ARE THE BARS®
The Access Bars® are 32 points on the head which, when gently activated, can help and contribute to reducing stress, thoughts, trauma and pain throughout the body and increase a positive attitude towards life.
WHEN WAS IT FIRST USED ?
The first Bars session was run by Gary M. Douglas in the 90'ies. Gary is the founder of Access Consciousness®.
HOW DOES IT WORK ?
When activated by a light touch, the Bars points stimulate a positive neurological response inside the Person receiving the session. This appears to trigger the body's natural ability of self healing and facilitating physiligocal changes required for a greater wellbeing and a less stressful life.
WHAT DOES A SESSION LOOK LIKE ?
The Bars® are only being activated on the recipient's head. You get to lay down on a massage table and receive for 60-90minutes. (Bars® on Kids run quicker and a session will usually last between 20-45 minutes depending on the age of the child).
CAN BARS® INTERFERE WITH MY MEDITATION OR OTHER HEALING MODALITIES I USE ?
Most people who have tried and receive the Bars® on a regular basis have found that they actually enhance the effects of their meditative practice and in most cases inscreased the capacity and potency of other healing modalities.
HOW POPULAR ARE THE BARS® ?
Access Consciousness® seminars are now being facilitated in over 173 countries and there are more than 10'000 Bars Facilitators to this da. Every year, tens of thousands of people enjoy Bars sessions all around the globe.
IS IT SCIENTIFICALLY VALID ?
In November 2017 Dr. Terrie Hope phD, DNM, CFMW published an article in the Journal of Energy Psychology, describing how the results of just one 90 minute Bars Session indicated a significant decrease in the severity of depression and anxiety.
In 2015 leading neuroscientist Dr. Jeffrey L. Fannin discovered in further research that the Bars® had a positive neurological effect on the receiver, quite similar to those experienced by advanced meditators - and that the results are produced and experienced immediately.
